Shaded spheres are rastered onto an entire roll of waxed drafting paper. The light blue grid wears and burns away. A slow erasure of grid by laser dictated by grid. Grid x grid. The paper, under grid-ed heat, becomes transparent, puckering with the tension of the round burns. You is a mattress that seems to surface forever. Signifier of singular and plural, individual and collective, personal and shared. A seemingly infinite plane of intimacy and rest formed as their sinusoidal relation.
